Our Production Process - Your Vision, Our Mission

You’ve been there, you have a case that you are certain is a million-dollar case, but it seems like it will be a challenge to settle. You know that visuals will help your case, but you wonder what it all entails. Many attorneys are not aware of the number of materials and work that goes into creating an effective visual. So, what is the process that you can expect when you reach out for an animation?

First, We Get the Basic Details

When you first reach out to us, we will ask for basic details; your contact information, case name, trial or mediation date, and a quick summary of the incident. This phase takes into account the requests for case materials including injury pictures, police reports, and operative reports, to name just a few.

Once we have all those details, we create a proposal based on your needs. This is the phase where you can discuss strategy, needs, and price. The proposal will provide you with details as to what we will be creating for you and your client, and a quote.

Next, We Fact Assess

We work very closely with your experts to ensure that we have the approval of our storyboards, markups, and scripts before the production of the visual presentation itself. To us, fact assessment is critically important because admissibility is paramount to all other aspects of our work. To ensure this we use the expert’s underlying data to make the animation come to life with precision. This is accomplished by using laser scans and point cloud data, measurements, last stop records / ECM data, and PC-crash.  Plus, you’ll be happy to know that our team consists of certified medical illustrators who in order to maintain the prestigious CMI title, must undergo rigorous coursework.

The Draft Phase

A presentation can be comprised of any number of visuals such as 3D animation, models, charts, diagrams, drone footage, documentary video, and medical illustrations. When a script and storyboard using these elements are in place, our illustrators and 3D animators are ready to get to work on a first draft. With a trial or mediation date in mind, we keep attorneys and their expert witnesses on speed dial, as each frame of the presentation starts to come to life. To produce an effective high-quality presentation takes the complex artistry of a designer who will model, texture, animate, light, rig, render, composite, edit, and export.

In this initial drafting phase, we work closely with the attorneys and experts. We can do this from anywhere in the world during this phase with secured viewable links that are accessible at any location with internet capability. The client can see the presentation take shape and we can quickly make changes on the fly, even on short notice. In fact, many late nights and last-minute edits have meant remarkable results for attorneys we have worked with.

The Final Presentation

Once the animation is approved by the experts and the attorney, the final step is sending the attorney a high-res MP4 file that can be saved and played on an electronic media device. Using the MP4 allows attorneys the ability to pause the animation, especially when presenting it in conjunction with an expert on the stand. This fully rendered presentation in all its complex precision is now ready to serve the needs of an attorney, and more importantly, their client who may badly need financial recovery and justice.

Attorney Approved

Putting together these presentations can seem like a complex task, and it is. However, we follow this precise process to ensure that the finished product is as powerful as it is informative. Attorneys can rest assured knowing that our visuals can help evoke settlement as well as withstand admissibility issues in court. No matter how big or small the practice is, when a powerful argument is coupled with expert/client testimony and informative visuals, securing a million-dollar settlement or achieving a landmark verdict, is much easier to obtain.
